The Fengyu Mine is located in the upper reaches of the Baijing River, a tributary of the Fengping River, 43 km southwest of Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. The mine belongs to the Japanese mining company. Beneficiation plant was built in the vicinity of the mine shaft, put into operation in 1969, the processing capacity of 60,000 tons per month. The concentrator consists of two parts, the main plant and the filtration plant. The concentrator is installed outdoors. The two buildings are 5050 square meters and 1283 square meters respectively. They are all built on flat land and the factory building is steel structure.
Deposit and ore
The deposit is a shallow hydrothermal fissure filling deposit. Its range is 3600 meters from northwest to southeast, 1200 meters from northeast to southwest, and there are more than 40 veins.
The main useful minerals well-lead ore, sphalerite and pyrite, associated with a small amount of brass ore, manganese ore Ling, native silver, argentite, magnetite and hematite. There surrounding rock andesite, tuff and mudstone, and subject of sericite, chlorite, silicification and clay of the role. The gangue minerals are quartz , chlorite, calcite and sericite.
Minerals in ores are generally produced in crystals. However, there are many voids in the crystal, and the iron content in the sphalerite is 2-12%, but it is mostly 2%. Some of the sphalerites are closely associated with pyrite and quartz; galena is mainly symbiotic with sphalerite, and some are fine-grained with both; pyrite is characterized by a collection of many crystallites due to crystallization. Not completely oxidized. Silver-bearing minerals are mainly silver-silver ore and natural silver, as well as cuprous silver ore, silver pyrite, and silver minerals belonging to the Sb and As systems. In addition, the pyrite and gangue minerals also contain very fine silver that is difficult to float. The ore contains 2.62% lead, 7.61% zinc, 12.31% sulfur, 0.02% copper, 0.3g/t gold , and 110g/t silver. The content of ore is 22% of pyrite, 9.3% of sphalerite, and 3.2% of galena.
