Nissan new energy model plan exposure

According to the report of "Automotive News of the United States", Nissan Motors plans to challenge Toyota in the field of hybrid vehicles and will launch 15 new hybrid models in the next five years.

Nissan’s chief operating officer Shi Hejun said that of the 15 hybrid vehicles, 11 new hybrid vehicles will use Nissan's latest precursor hybrid system, which is expected to debut in 2013. The Infiniti JX Crossover is expected to be the first hybrid model to adopt this layout. On December 12th, at the display of Nissan’s eco-friendly design, the company exhibited an unpredictable preview of the medium-sized MPV effect, demonstrating that the car will use the above technologies.

A plug-in hybrid will be unveiled in 2015, and the other three rear-drive hybrids will use the system currently used by the Infiniti M hybrid. The Nissan and Infiniti hybrid vehicles will be equipped with the following technology: a drive system consisting of an electric motor and two clutches; a continuously variable transmission (CVT); and a lithium-ion battery.

The sales of the Nissan Pure Electric Vehicle Leaf wind failed to meet expectations and turned to hybrid vehicles. Nissan Zeng hoped to achieve leadership in low-emission vehicles through the speech. If today's production is aware of the need to develop hybrid vehicles, at least as a transitional technology, and thus antagonize market leader Toyota and its popular Prius hybrid car series.

Shih Joon said: "We must take the path of hybridization. We cannot jump directly from the internal combustion engine to the zero-emission phase. We need a transition between the two. In fact, this is what we had at the beginning, but now Nissan has changed. priority."

Regarding Nissan’s latest 15 hybrids, Shih Joon’s name was not revealed, nor did he indicate the markets in which it will be sold. However, it is certain that these 15 hybrid vehicles will include new and modified models. Currently Nissan has two hybrid vehicles sold in Japan, including the Fuga hybrid version (sold in the United States as Infiniti M) and the Cima sedan.

Nissan has shifted its focus to hybrid cars on the one hand, and is not ready to give up pure electric vehicles on the other. Nissan will launch the NV200 micro/MPV electric model in 2014. The car has been selected by New York City as the next-generation taxi; the same year, the Infiniti brand's first pure electric vehicle will also be available. Nissan also plans to release another new electric car in 2016, but at present the company refuses to disclose information related to the car.

Although the sales of electric vehicles are not satisfactory at present, there will be various measures in the future to further promote electric vehicles, including cutting costs, expanding product lineup, and expanding the charging network. Regarding the downturn in sales, Shih Joon’s commentary stated: “Unfortunately, we did not implement the original plan. However, if we can fully utilize the production capacity, the cost will inevitably drop.”

Nissan looks at cutting the cost of electric vehicle drive systems by half by 2020, including batteries, motors, on-board charging systems, and rectifiers.

Shiho Jun revealed that Nissan will also improve the fuel efficiency of its product lineup by introducing clean diesel power technology and miniaturized turbocharged engines.
