Alfa Laval has expanded its range of PureBallast ballast water management systems to provide a compact “plug and play†solution with a wide range of service packages. 
It is reported that the compact PureBallast 3.1 has a larger flow rate, and the compact version of PureBallast 3.1/300 is said to be the smallest system on the market, but the flow rate is as high as 300 cubic meters per hour.
