The report on the test report of the Kunlun dual-fuel engine oil Sulige gas field was recently held in Panjin, Liaoning Province. At the meeting, Dalian Research and Development Institute reported the test results of Kunlun KCN7810D dual-fuel internal combustion engine oil in Sulige gas field test application. Since the establishment of the project in September 2007, Kunlun Lubricant Huabei Sales Branch has conducted preliminary market research and technical exchanges on the Sulige gas field, aiming at the actual conditions of “low permeability, low pressure, and low abundance†in the Sulige gas field in the Ordos Basin. The company decided to adopt a low-cost development strategy and developed a new dual-fuel diesel engine supporting oil products to improve the company's internal oil environment and provide technical services for lubricants. With strong support and cooperation from multiple parties, on November 3, 2007, the KCN7810D dual-fuel engine oil was tested at the well team site. After one year's efforts, the test succeeded in extracting monitoring oil samples. After testing by Dalian Research and Development Institute, the performance indicators of KCN7810D special oil reached the test program requirements. Compared with common oil and similar imported products, Kunlun KCN7810D dual-fuel internal combustion engine oil is saving energy. Reduced costs and extended equipment life have advantages.
Kunlun Lubricants paid a visit to the Sulige Gasfield in the early stage and the Liaohe Bureau conducted test campaigns. The influence of the KCN7810D dual-fuel internal combustion engine oil has attracted the attention of other well teams involved in the development of oil and gas fields. So far, Kunlun Lubricant Huabei Sales Branch has provided a total of 38 barrels of Kunlun KCN7810D dual-fuel engine oil test oil for the Sulige gas field team operation, and achieved sales of 40 barrels (13.26 tons in total), with well-functioning equipment and an oil situation.
