On the 8th, a major debris flow disaster occurred in Zhouqu County, causing power outages, resulting in half of the Gansu Mobile's base stations in Zhouqu County being out of service due to power outages, and the communication was once interrupted.

After the disaster took place, Gansu Mobile made an emergency communication support assault squadron and rushed to the disaster area to carry out disaster relief and rescue communications overnight. It dispatched more than 30 generators to rush to base stations for power generation, and emergency allocation of resources to repair damaged base stations in the county. Organize emergency support for Gannan in the neighboring Linxia, ​​Lanzhou, Dingxi and Weinan movements, and continue to allocate generators , vehicles, optical cables and related equipment to disaster areas.

Up to now, through emergency power generation and fault handling, two out of service mobile base stations have been resumed in Zhouqu county, and the number of mobile base stations in the county is up to 5, effectively reducing congestion. In addition, one of the three emergency telecommunications vehicles that had urgently been rescued had already arrived on the scene, and the other two vehicles will arrive in the evening.

Gansu Mobile Company stated that Gansu Mobile has arranged special services for disaster-stricken users and rescue teams during the rescue and disaster relief period, including free parking, mobile phone charging, and safe phone calls. At present, more than half of the base stations are working, but due to the large amount of local traffic, there is congestion.
