On August 15, the 200,000 t/y special asphalt project of Zhongyuan Asphalt Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Liaohe Oilfield and Tongliao Enterprises, was put into operation and held in Tongliao Economic and Technological Development Zone. The project includes one set of SBS modified asphalt equipment and emulsified asphalt equipment, and the domestic production technology is leading. The products produced are medium and high-grade asphalt and are mainly used in important infrastructure areas such as highways, large bridges and airports. At present, the company has won the bid for a 20,000-ton-grade asphalt highway project.
