The industry must enhance its awareness of urgency, be prepared to respond to various risks and challenges, and in accordance with the requirements of the Central Government, adhere to the principle of stability, progress and excellence, accelerate the transformation of economic development methods, and promote the steady and rapid development of the petroleum and chemical industries.
According to the spirit of the Central Government and the actual conditions of the industry, in 2008 the association will further strengthen economic monitoring and analysis, conscientiously implement the national macroeconomic regulation and control policy, strengthen trade coordination, consultation and early warning, and strengthen research on the development strategy of the industry. At the same time, we must do a good job of energy-saving and emission reduction, continue to promote recycling economy, strive to promote scientific and technological progress, improve independent innovation capabilities, promote brand strategy, enhance product competitiveness, actively promote responsible care, establish a good image of the industry, build exchange and cooperation platforms, and open up service channels. In the field, we must strengthen the construction of the association itself and improve its overall quality and level.
