In the past five years, more than 1,200 patents have been filed by enterprises in the region, including 4 state-level research institutes, 5 national-level engineering centers, engineering laboratories, 19 municipal engineering centers, and enterprise technology centers. Over 170 state-level and municipal-level scientific research projects were undertaken, among which 33 projects were included in the national science and technology plan, and 25 projects were included in major projects for industrialization of independent innovation in the city, and 11 city-level science and technology progress awards were obtained.
