China's pump and valve manufacturing industry profits exceeded 49 billion yuan in 2011

At the end of 2011, there were 4,194 manufacturing enterprises for pumps, valves, compressors and similar machinery in China. The total assets of the industry reached 448.98 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21.83%. Data show that: In 2011, China's large-scale industrial enterprises manufacturing pumps, valves, compressors and similar machinery realized main business income of 635.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 28.41%; and total profit reached 49.968 billion yuan, an increase of 28.71% over the same period of last year.

Valves can be used to control the flow of various types of fluids such as air, water, steam, various corrosive media, slurries, oils, liquid metals, and radioactive media. The global valve manufacturing industry is mainly concentrated in North America, Europe, Japan, and China. Economically developed regions such as Europe and Japan mainly produce metallurgy, petrochemical, and nuclear power valves. In East Asia and Southeast Asia, such as China and India, the market for drainage valves has been growing faster due to the influence of demand. The number of China's valve companies ranks among the top in the world, but the overall size of domestic water valve companies is relatively small and the industry concentration is low.

What is MIG welding?
EDAWELD CO.,LTD
The Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding process forms an electric arc between a consumable wire electrode and the work piece. This heats the work piece metals so they melt and join. Both the wire electrode and a shielding gas are fed through the Welding Torch.

MIG welding is also known as also often known as either Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) or Metal Active Gas (MAG) welding.

What are the benefits of MIG welding?

Simplicity – MIG welding is quick and easy to learn compared to TIG welding.
Versatility – can be used to weld a wide variety of metals.
Speed – welding is quick compared to TIG welding.
Automation – easy to adapt for robotic automation
What are the disadvantages of MIG welding?

Limitations on location – MIG welding is not suitable for outside use because the volatility of the air can disperse the shielding gas.
Quality – MIG welding can produce more quality problems than TIG welding, the main ones being dross and porosity which can cause weaker welds.
