In the first half of the year, Daikin Dragon achieved a total of 3,624 passenger car exports, an increase of 9.75% year-on-year. According to Xie Weiguo, the overseas sales director of Daikin Dragon, in the first half of the year, Grand Dragon completed sales of 800 million yuan in overseas markets. Among them, “the number of light-passenger passengers in the sea lion series is large, but more than 30 large- and medium-size passenger vehicles contribute the most in the export profits of Dajinlong”. At the same time, Xie Weiguo said that from the perspective of the development trend of export models, the proportion of buses will increase.

In the first half of this year, Xiamen Golden Trip exported 2,202 passenger cars, which was a year-on-year increase of 175.94%. Its overseas market department manager Wang said that Xiamen Golden Brigade's passenger car exports are growing rapidly and each year is a substantial increase, but there is still a gap compared with the industry average.

The Ankai bus also performed well in overseas markets this year, with 844 buses exported from January to June, an increase of 162.11% year-on-year. It is worth mentioning that the 20 double-decker sightseeing buses of the Ankai bus service local and international people during the London Olympics and won a good brand effect.

The Ankai double-decker sightseeing bus service to the London Olympics has strengthened its services and promoted the use of high-end routes to promote the export market. The reason that bus exports can achieve such results in the first half of the year is that it is not unrelated to the strengthening of service construction and high-end lines by bus companies.

Hu Fengju said that the Yutong bus has been able to obtain a large list of 1,216 buses in Venezuela this year, which is directly related to the improvement of its service network. In the first half of this year, Yutong invested more effort in the service of overseas markets, among which the optimization of parts libraries and the construction of service teams have been rapidly developed. At present, Yutong has a service team of about 200 people stationed overseas to support sales for a long time, and the ratio of its sales personnel has reached 3:1.

Manager Wang told reporters that before the Chinese bus exports were taken out of buy mode, no need for after-sales service. However, with the continuous development of the market, after-sales service is more and more important. “We talk about the after-sales service when we talk about the contract with the customer.” Therefore, passenger car companies are also quite concerned with after-sales service. For example, the Golden Brigade requires that “cars come to people”; the Haig Bus requires that “people go with the car” are to ensure the after-sales service of overseas users.

In addition to providing service guarantees, opening up markets in developed countries, especially high-end markets, has also become a major measure for domestic bus companies to increase their exports.

“For the high-end bus market, mainstream bus manufacturers are seeking breakthroughs, especially in Europe and the United States. Afterwards, the passenger bus market in China will gradually become saturated and competition will become increasingly fierce. Therefore, it is increasingly important to open up foreign markets.” Indicated.

According to reports, companies that perform well in overseas exports of high-end buses include Daikin Dragon, Golden Brigade, Hagrid and Ankai. This year, there are 100 Jinlong coaches serving the London Olympics and 20 Anker double-decker buses operating on London Street. The delivery of these two orders confirms the preliminary market development effect of bus companies in developed regions.

According to the reporter’s understanding, at present, Yutong buses have passed 10 European standards for the certification of passenger vehicles, but the overall export volume is not large. Hu Fengju said that in the next few years, the European market will also become the goal of Yutong Bus.

Unfavorable economic situation In the second half of the year, the export market is worrying. In the current sluggish international economic situation, the overall passenger car export market has increased by 31% in the first half of the year. This is very good in the opinion of Zhen Zhenqing, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Road Society Subcommittee.

Manager Wang Jin of the Passenger Car Market Department also said: “Commercial vehicles, construction machinery and other industries have been affected by the financial crisis this year, but the passenger car export performance is still good.”

However, despite the performance of the export market in the first half of the year, the overall global economic situation is still not optimistic, and industry insiders have expressed concern about the passenger car export market in the second half of the year.

Xie Weiguo analyzed that in the next two years, the development of the automobile market in India, Europe and other regions will slow down, and it will be difficult for China's passenger car exports to increase substantially. "But there are still promising markets in South America, Australia, Russia, and the Middle East."

Zhen Zhenqing said that although passenger car exports this year are stronger than the domestic market, compared to last year, the passenger car export market this year performed generally. Especially buses are the worst performers in all types of export vehicles. The bad market is mainly due to the downturn in the international situation. However, this low economic environment will not change much in the second half of the year. In addition, there were no favorable factors for passenger car exports in the second half of the year. The passenger car export market is worrying.
