On the morning of February 21, the 140,000 tonne/year sulphur yellow recovery unit of Nanjing Yangtze Petrochemical started construction. The environmental protection device is a supporting device for the upgrade of the quality of the 14 million-ton oil product of Yangzi Petrochemical and the crude oil inferiority reconstruction project. It consists of a 140,000-ton/year sulphur recovery unit, 500 tons/hour solvent regeneration unit and 200 tons/hour acid water stripping unit. . The device adopts the “two ends and one tail†process, and is the first to be designed in China with the emission standards of less than 200mg/Nm3 of flue gas sulfur dioxide and less than 50mg/Nm3 of nitrogen oxides, which can meet the requirements of the soon-to-be-implemented flue gas emission standards. The device will be put into production in July.
