·In 2020, China initially established a green transportation system
The Ministry of Transport of China disclosed that the Ministry issued the "Opinions on Comprehensively and Deeply Promoting the Development of Green Transportation" (hereinafter referred to as "Opinions"). The "Opinions" propose that by 2020, China will initially establish a green transportation system. By 2035, a new pattern of transportation development that is compatible with the resource and environmental carrying capacity and coordinated with the production and living ecology will be formed.
Wu Chungeng, deputy director of the Policy Research Office of the Ministry of Transport, pointed out that according to the "Opinions", significant progress will be made in the construction of green transportation key areas in 2020, the passenger and cargo transportation structure will continue to be optimized, and the proportion of railway and water transport in long-distance transportation of bulk goods will be further Improve; advanced transportation organization and further promotion, and strive to achieve 2020 multimodal transport volume increased by 1.5 times compared with 2015; large-scale urban central city green travel ratio reached more than 70%, built a number of bus city demonstration cities.
In addition, the utilization efficiency of port shoreline resources, land resources and channel resources has been significantly improved; clean and efficient transportation equipment has been effectively applied, the number of new energy and clean energy vehicles has reached 600,000, and the standardization rate of inland vessels has reached 70%. The rate reaches 80%, the comprehensive energy consumption ratio of railway unit transportation workload and the energy consumption ratio of transportation turnover of operating trucks, operating vessels and civil aviation industry units are reduced; pollution discharge is effectively controlled, and ship water pollutants are all received or disposed according to regulations. The carbon dioxide emission intensity of transportation decreased by 7% compared with 2015; the ecological protection achieved positive results, the transportation infrastructure construction fully complied with the baseline requirements of ecological function guarantee, and a number of green transportation infrastructure demonstration projects were completed.
Wu Chungeng revealed that in the next step, the Ministry of Transport will focus on seven major projects including transportation structure optimization, organizational innovation, green travel, resource intensification, equipment upgrade, pollution prevention and ecological protection.
