The temperature forecast data is mainly collected by the sensors of the automatic weather station and the shutter box in the observation field of the artificial weather station, and has the standard meteorological detection environment requirements. For example, the shutter box should be placed 1.5 meters above the ground, and meet the conditions of ventilation, low humidity, and direct sunlight. According to the data collected by the screen box, the meteorological station makes a forecast of the temperature, which is called "standard temperature" in meteorology.

Because it is difficult for Wuhan to meet the requirements for the establishment of a national basic meteorological observation station, the meteorological observation station is located at Cihui Farm, Dongxihu District. The station is a representative meteorological observation station in Wuhan and the measured meteorological data participate in the global exchange.
