The price adjustment for parts and components involved about 15,000 pieces, with an average drop of 26%. Among them, the radiator assembly is lowered by 35%, the engine assembly, the automatic transmission assembly is reduced by 30%, and the airbag assembly is lowered by 25%.
Lexus China said yesterday that the price adjustment is also based on the previous warranty maintenance policy, by lowering the price of some parts and components, reducing the maintenance cost of the models beyond the warranty period, and reducing the burden on users.
According to the investigation by the reporter, the Lexus dealers have not yet received an internal notice of the price adjustment of the parts. However, the dealer said that the manufacturer will definitely issue a notice before September 1st, when the dealer will follow the new price list.
