Isuzu company: "Celebrating the Chinese market is equivalent to Isuzu"

In China's light truck market, a strange “Isuzu phenomenon” has caused consumers to perplex: a variety of light trucks are loaded with the 4JB1 engine of Isuzu, and a number of companies related to “bell” such as Qingling, Jiangling, and Ao Ling, in the end Who can represent the real Isuzu? “At present, only two companies in China provide Isuzu’s existing and up-to-date technology and products, allowing the use of the “ISUZU” brand. The family is Qingling, and the one is the Guangzhou Isuzu Bus Factory just mentioned. Now it’s the relationship with JMC. We have not given him the right to use the "ISUZU" brand." A few days ago when interviewed by reporters, the executive director of Japan's Isuzu Motors, Moyuki Yoshito explained the relationship with many domestic companies. It is reported that there are three joint ventures of Isuzu Corporation in China, namely Qingling, Jiangling, and one Guangzhou-produced bus company. The companies that have the right to use the "ISUZU" brand are the Qingling company and the Guangzhou bus company. Among them, the earliest joint venture between Isuzu and Qingling began in the mid-1980s. Qingling has been keeping pace with Isuzu's technology. As for the relationship between Isuzu and JMC, Mochizuki Yoshito said: “We and Jiangling have been in a joint venture relationship because of the support of the central government in Jiangxi Province. However, in the current situation, we have no business dealings with Jiangxi. For Jiangling Kaiyun, we did not provide any advanced technology.” For the Jiangling Kaiyun “aggregation of Isuzu technology essence” slogans, representatives from the Isuzu China Business Unit were very helpless when interviewed by media in Dongguan, Guangdong Province: “Isuzu The company did not know where the latest Isuzu technology was advertised.” For many domestic light trucks equipped with the Isuzu 4JB1 engine, Mochizuki stated that in the 1980s, Isuzu signed a trade contract with the Chinese government and transferred the 4JB1 engine technology to the company. The Chinese government and the Chinese government have conducted production of such engines in several Chinese factories. “But later, we have been updating the 4JB1 engine with Qingling for several times. Qingling and Isuzu have introduced new technologies, so now they have the same world level as Isuzu’s. The performance and standard of the 4JB1 engine is only that of Qingling, "said Mochizuki's interpretation of the name of Qingling. Mochizuki said that at present, many important assemblies and parts can be domesticated at Qingling. We and Qingling jointly use the sales of the entire vehicle in the market to develop the capabilities of this part of the equipment. We are also part of our cooperation. Including Qingling's products into our international procurement system, Qingling is playing an important role in our global strategy—competition for the world's number one commercial truck. Therefore, Qingling is not only playing a role in China’s strategy. In the role of Isuzu’s international strategy, Qingling also has an important position. Recently, Mr. Ansai Fujio, who is in charge of the engine powertrain system at Isuzu, also stated that Isuzu is considering purchasing engine assemblies from Qingling. It is reported that in the Isuzu's procurement evaluation system, only four engines are qualified except for the Fujisawa plant in Japan. In addition to Isuzu's plants in the United States, Poland, and Thailand, there are Chinese Qingling. Prior to this, Isuzu had purchased a heavy-duty truck gearbox assembly from Qingling, and the light-vehicle gearboxes would all be purchased from Qingling, which was previously only produced in Japan.
