Industry-leading eight energy-saving emission reduction technology

On June 27, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association held a meeting and issued the "Working Opinions on Promoting Energy-saving and Emission Reduction," and decided to promote the eight practical technologies for energy-saving and emission-reduction in the whole industry.
The first is to promote energy system optimization technologies in crude oil processing and ethylene production. Among them, the energy-saving renovation of the refinery system includes optimization of the energy system of the entire refinery production plant, energy optimization of the catalytic cracking process, etc.; the energy-saving reform of the ethylene enterprise system includes the energy system optimization of the entire ethylene production plant and the energy-saving optimization of the ethylene cracker.
The second is to promote zero-emission technology for sewage and comprehensive technology for energy-saving reconstruction of synthetic ammonia in the nitrogen fertilizer industry. The comprehensive technology for energy saving of synthetic ammonia consists of 8 sub-items. The full implementation of nitrogen fertilizer energy-saving technology will enable the nitrogen fertilizer industry to save 15% to 20%.
The third is to promote the production of phosphorus gypsum board technology in the phosphate fertilizer industry. The promotion of this technology can solve the problem of long-term storage of phosphogypsum and open up a new path for the comprehensive utilization of hundreds of millions of tons of phosphogypsum.
The fourth is to promote medium and low temperature heat recovery technology in the sulfuric acid industry. U.S. Monsanto Co., Ltd. has a large-scale sulfuric acid plant, low-temperature heat recovery technology, can make the total heat recovery rate of 90%. In 2010, the output of sulfuric acid in China will reach more than 70 million tons. The introduction of Monsanto technology is of great significance.
The fifth is to promote dry acetylene technology in the chlor-alkali industry. This technology can reduce waste water discharge by 90%, reduce the difficulty in handling calcium carbide slag, save a large amount of slag land, and significantly reduce energy consumption.
Sixth, in the calcium carbide industry, large-scale sealed calcium carbide furnaces, hollow electrodes and furnace gas comprehensive utilization technologies have been promoted. If these two technologies are fully adopted, the calcium carbide industry can save energy consumption of 1.725 million tons of standard coal per year while significantly reducing smoke and dust emissions.
Seventh, the use of electric dedusting technology and exhaust gas comprehensive utilization technology will be promoted in the yellow phosphorus industry. This technology can make comprehensive use of yellow phosphorus tail gas, reduce exhaust emissions, recycle solid waste phosphorous, phosphorous iron, phosphorus slag, etc., and utilize the latent heat of yellow phosphorus to reduce the production costs of thermal phosphoric acid and phosphide.
Eight is to promote calcium-free roasting technology in the chromium salt industry. The ratio of calcium-free roasting to the current calcium roasting process is reduced by 2/3 per ton of sodium dichromate slag discharge; the content of hexavalent chromium in the slag is less than 0.1%, which is about 1/30 that of calcium roasting.
It is understood that the eight technologies involved in the industry are high energy consumption industries. The association will also continue to organize experts to collect, review, and screen new energy-saving emission reduction technologies, new processes, new equipment, and timely release to enterprises.
