Hella and Visteon to Jointly Produce Auto Parts in Dalian


In September, South Korea's Halla Climate Contr01 will establish a joint venture in Dalian with its parent company, Visteon, which will begin mass production of automotive parts from next year. After the establishment of the new company, Hella will account for 60% of the shares and Visteon will occupy 40% of the shares. Visteon and Hella started cooperation in the Asia Pacific region since 1986. At present, they have jointly owned three factories in South Korea, and also have joint ventures in India, Thailand, Canada and Portugal. Visteon is now the main controlling party of Hella.
