Chicago Ridge has recently joined the roster of fire departments on our site within MABAS Division 21. This department maintains two operational stations—one manned by full-time professional firefighters and the other supported by paid-on-call volunteers. Their fleet is quite diverse, featuring a mix of equipment such as an E-ONE tower ladder, engines from reputable brands like Pierce, Luverne, and E-ONE, along with ambulances sourced from Road Rescue and Aurora Truck Body.

The first photo highlights a Chicago Ridge Fire Department Pierce engine, captured by Dennis McGuire, Jr. Another shot provides a closer look at one of their rigs, while a third image gives us a broader perspective of their firefighting arsenal. In addition, we have a dramatic scene from a past incident where Engine 6533 was actively engaged in pumping operations during a significant five-alarm fire at the Fox Lumberyard in Alsip back in 2007, photographed by Larry Shapiro. Another angle from the same event further illustrates the department's commitment and capability under pressure.
