This just came in from Brad Steinweg. He shared some photos of the four-alarm fire that broke out this Friday in Harvey, specifically near the intersection of 147th and Halsted. It was quite a scene! Apparently, there was another fire going on around the same time at 145th and Union Avenue, but Brad didn’t manage to get any shots of that one.

Take a look at these images. They really capture the intensity of the situation. Brad’s photography does an amazing job highlighting the scale of the response. You can see multiple fire engines and support vehicles all working together to tackle the blaze.
The first image shows the house engulfed in flames. The firefighters were clearly working hard to contain it.
