Product Description
The XD series vacuum pump is a single-stage rotary vane oil-sealed vacuum pump that plays a crucial role in low and medium vacuum applications. It can be used independently or as a forepump for other types of vacuum pumps such as mechanical booster pumps or turbo molecular pumps. This pump is ideal for pumping air and dry gases, but it should not be used for corrosive, toxic, flammable, or explosive gases. Additionally, it is not suitable for handling gases with dust or small particles.
These pumps are designed to operate continuously in well-ventilated rooms with ambient temperatures between 5°C and 30°C and humidity levels below 80%. They are also compatible with several additional configurations, such as:
- Combining with Roots pumps to increase the pumping capacity and improve vacuum performance.
- Using a condenser before the vacuum pump when dealing with moist air or condensable gases, along with a gas ballast valve on the pump itself.
- Installing dust filters in front of the pump if the gas contains dust or particles.
- Using corrosion-resistant gas filters if the gas being pumped is corrosive.
