Slitted coil is uncoiled and fed into the forming section, passing through the equipment of the entry section. The entry section enables the tube mill to run continuously by using strip joining and an accumulator. Before welding, the pipe is formed into a round shape by passing through a series of driven and idler rollers in the forming section. In the welding section, the pipe is longitudinally welded using a high-frequency induction welding method. The outside bead is removed and shaped into scrap. The weld seam is ironed, and the pipe passes through the cooling section. Then, in the sizing section, the pipe is formed to the specified size and converted into the desired shape. After sizing, the pipe is cut to the required length using a flying saw cut-off equipment and delivered to the collecting table after passing through the run-out conveyor. Flow Chart Step 1: Uncoiler The function of the uncoiler is to support and expand the strip so it can enter the machine for rolling forming. The strip can be expanded by hydraulic or pneumatic and the uncoiler can be rotated 180 degrees. The strip expansion speed can be adjusted, with a braking device designed with a pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder to press the brake rubber block. Step 2: Shear & End Welding This step is used to shear the head and end of the steel strip from two steel coils, cutting off the irregular part and then welding the ends of the two steel strips together, allowing the machine to work continuously. Step 3: Accumulator Installed between the shear & end welder and forming mill, the horizontal spiral accumulator stores a large amount of strip in a reasonable footprint space to give enough time for the shear & end welder to cut and join the ends of two successive coils with non-stop tube mill. It has vertical cage type accumulators for small size tube mills. Step 4: Forming The function of this part is to make the steel strip become a tube blank by forming rollers. Step 5: Welding & Scarfing The function of this part is to center the welding seam and guide the tube blank to the welding device, so the welding seam will be closed before welding. A scarfing tool is used to remove the burr to ensure smooth welding. Step 6: Sizing The function of this part is to finish the tube blank from the forming machine, so the tube size can meet the physical dimensions as the customer requires, shaping it into square and rectangular and other shape profiles. Step 7: Straightening Four rolls turk head straightening, straighten the pipe online to achieve the ideal flatness. Step 8: Cut Off Saw Cut off the pipe with the required length. The length of the pipe can be set. With the option of cold saw and flying saw. Step 9: Run Out Table This unit conveys the finished pipe to packing. The pipe is transmitted by dynamic roll. A signal sensing device is installed at the end of the run out table. When the pipe touches the signal sensing device, it will feedback the signal to the control panel, and the control panel starts working and discharges the pipe.
