This is a double-stage high-speed oil-sealed rotary vane vacuum pump. It comes equipped with a gas-ballast valve, which helps to reduce the partial pressure of vapor in the discharge by introducing air into the exhaust space. This prevents vapor condensation and oil emulsification, thus extending the life of the pump oil. However, using the gas-ballast valve may lower the ultimate vacuum level and increase the operating temperature.

Field of Application

1. This pump serves as a fundamental equipment for evacuating sealed vessels. 2. The pump can operate continuously under ambient temperatures ranging from 5Â°C to 40Â°C, provided the intake pressure is below 1230 Pa. If the pumped gas contains more than 90% relative humidity, the gas-ballast valve should be opened.

3. The pump should not run for more than one minute when the inlet port is fully open to the atmosphere.

4. It is not suitable for pumping oxidized, toxic, explosive, corrosive gases, or gases that react chemically with the pump oil or contain dust particles.
