Working fire in Schaumburg, 7/8/16

This report comes from Larry Shapiro:

Schaumburg firefighters responded to a fire in the laundry room of a split-level home at 809 Holyoke Court on Friday morning, July 8, 2016. Upon arrival, smoke was visible coming from the lower level window, which led to an immediate upgrade to a Code 4 working fire. Firefighters quickly entered the scene and found the fire confined to a single room. They efficiently extinguished the flames and ventilated the area. Additional units were later recalled as the situation was under control.

As a side note, it's worth mentioning that in March 2011, Schaumburg crews faced a full-blown house fire just across the street, which escalated to a Box Alarm. That incident highlighted the importance of rapid response and coordination in such emergencies.
