Roberts Park has acquired a used 2009 Seagrave Marauder II, which previously served the Mansfield Fire Department in Massachusetts. This new engine will replace Engine 303—formerly known as Engine 31—which was a 1993 Pierce Dash that once operated as Engine 551 for Justice Fire Department before being taken over. The old engine is now being retired after years of reliable service.
Below are some images of the new and old apparatus. Here's the 2009 Seagrave Marauder II in its new home, ready to serve the community. Alongside it, we have photos of the 1993 Pierce Dash that is being replaced. These images show the evolution of the department’s fleet over the years.
From our archives, we also have a photo of the original Justice Engine 551 when it was brand new, captured by Larry Shapiro. It's always interesting to look back and see how far we've come.
