Hempel launches third generation non-stick coating

The Hempel Group of the Netherlands has recently launched the third generation of marine bio-non-adhesive coatings based on silicone hydrogel technology, Hempasil X3. The sea trials of more than 20 large vessels show that after using the coating, each boat is averaged. It saves $1.5 million in fuel costs per year and its CO2 emissions are also significantly reduced. It is reported that the new paint has an effective service life of 90 months, and the product can still play a good role even when the ship's speed is as low as 8 knots.
